Folk artist Naima Bock released her debut single '30 Degrees' on Sub Pop a couple of weeks back, blowing us away with her angelic voice. Now she releases the B-side to '30 Degrees', 'Berimbau' which is a cover of a Brazilian song written by Baden Powell and Vincius de Moraes and later covered by Nara Leao, as well as Astrud Gilberto. Naima's version invites a steady tempo, opening just with keyboard and vocals. This time, she is joined by Joel Burton's singing, their two voices harmoniously in sync. Bossa-nova rhythms are created by drums, organic percussion, acoustic guitar, and keys, whilst the piano wanders into artfully-improvised territory. Listen to 'Berimbau' here! -Ellie Rose-Davies
